Rains have been causing massive damage in Kodagu (Karnataka,India). Indian Army troops , Navy divers are carying out rescue and relief operations.
The landslides and Heavy Rains have claimed lives and hundreds of people are still missing.
Located in Western Ghat Mountain ranges, the incessant rain has been causing land slips accross regions making rescue operations difficult.Hundreds of people remain stranded on various hills of the district.
People have lost their houses, agricultural lands making it difficult for survival. People have been taking shelters in schools, local apartments etc.
We are planning to raise fund and support the relief operations in Kodagu.
