Bass Clarinet for Dedham School

Dedham school is looking to acquire a bass clarinet for the band program. This instrument will belong to the school and be available for Dedham band students to use. Bass Clarinets are expensive instruments that provide a unique and beautiful sound. With proper maintenance, they can serve the music program for many years. 

Many "step-up" instruments are financially out of reach for families, but that doesn't mean they should be out of reach for our students. In the 3 years that I've been at Dedham, I've managed to get our band program a Euphonium and Tenor Saxophone. This year I am trying to get a Bass Clarinet. A bass clarinet would give our band a better sound, give our students another opportunity to learn a new instrument and prepare them for high school band programs. The "step-up" instruments that we've been able to provide have given our students a wonderful sense of confidence. The more instruments Dedham school has to offer (free of charge!) the more students who get to experience band. Please help me to make band more accessible to everyone <3
