Klaus' Medical Fund

As many may already know, Klaus is not only my cat but he is also my child. Everyday I come home from work and he is immediately there to greet me with kisses and affection. He is the best thing to have ever happened to me and that is why I need your help. On February 4th I came home from work, but something wasn’t right. Klaus was no where to be found. I searched high and low before I finally found him curled up into a little ball in the back of my closet. I picked him up and he tried to look at me but he could barely keep his eyes open. I stayed up all night long to keep an eye on him and was finally able to bring him to the emergency vet. His blood pressure and heart rate were startlingly low and he was also extremely dehydrated. They did bloodwork on him and found no issues. So they administered an IV of fluids to rehydrate him. The vet highly recommended keeping him for a day or two but I was unable to provide them with the kind of money they required. The first visit alone was startling expensive. I am unable to provide Klaus with the care he now desperately needs. He refuses water and has not been able to use the litter box and this is a huge concern. He currently needs to get into the vet, x-rays, and then any treatment or surgery they need to preform. I don’t know what I would do without Klaus in my life. I really don’t want to see him like this anymore. He is the most friendly and lovable kitty I have ever met and doesn’t deserve this. He is currently a year and a half years old and has such a long life ahead of him. Any amount you can give will help. I wish I was able to pay for these medical expenses but I just graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and am struggling to get back on my feet. The last thing I want is my baby suffering and my heart is breaking. I appreciate you all in advance ♥️
