Hi Friends!
As many of you know I am going to be a Contestant in the Mrs. New York Pageant on March 25, 2018!! I made the decision to create this GFM as a simple way for you to partner with me! I am grateful for every dollar, as every dollar is an investment into helping me help more women!
I am proud to be representing the town of Victor, NY and every women that has ever struggled with insecurity, fears or body issues! The truth is, the decision to say YES to the pageant was a terrifying one! I verbally said YES while shaking my head NO!
Almost every single day I get asked WHY am I doing the Mrs. New York Pageant and what’s my platform?! My initial response is to blurt out “WOMEN!” every single time! I know that’s not the polished answer but it’s the honest answer.
The truth is I’m doing this because I am (or was) terrified to do this and I spent the last 20 something years hiding behind fear, insecurity, body hate and a million other issues that held me back from doing SO many things that I wanted to do! And on my very long journey to self love and acceptance I found out that not only was I not the minority, but MOST women have spent their life battling the same issues PLUS some! So many women are holding themselves back from their God given talents and abilities because of fear, insecurity etc. I’m sure if we were to take a survey maybe 1 out of every 100 women would say they truly love and accept themselves, and I bet it’s more like 1 out of 1000! Some of the greatest most capable women I know battle these issues!
For those of you who know me KNOW I’m a crazy Hot Mess and if I can do this, YOU can do anything!! Absolutely anything!! This Hot Mess is ready to pave the way one tear, fear and uncomfortable step at a time for women and Mommas to feel empowered and victorious in their battles and life! Every single one of you will be on that stage with me and while my knees are knocking and my thighs are shaking I’ll be doing this with my chin held high because I’m representing YOU and what you are capable of!
It would mean the world to me for you to partner with me in any way possible! Although this may not seem significant to some of you, this Pageant is a gateway to so many opportunities to get this very important message out to the world!
