Kissin' Away Kancer with Angie

To always be thinking of ways to care for others, to give, not only to YOUR friends, but to your friends' friends, to have more creative flow than a squirrel has nuts, THAT is our fellow friend and coworker, Angie Maxwell. She is a caregiver by career (nurse) and by nature. However, the tables have suddenly turned. Angie has now joined the world of women with a shocking diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The challenges that lay ahead of her are many: surgery, radiation, lost wages, time spent in the hospital, just to name a few. Angie is the primary breadwinner in her home, a home which consists of a husband and three children, (one in college and two in high school), and the occasional extra child that any one of her kids bring home from time to time. She also has two dogs and every now and then fosters a litter of kittens. My point is, there is never any end to the amount that she gives and even though this journey will have enormous challenges, Angie has never met a challenge that she hasn't hit head on. She has a strong support system to help her, both at home and at work. But it's time for us to reach out as far and as deep as we can to help her as much as we can! Thank you in advance!
