Kirbi's Breast Cancer Journey

On August 19th, 2017 Kirbi was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Since then she has underwent a mastectomy of her right breast and has completed 15 rounds of  chemo. She had a CT scan on April 20th that showed some abnormal lymph nodes in her right armpit. She has been told that she now has to have another surgery to have all her lymph nodes removed in that arm pit. She will meet with the surgeon on May 1st to determine when the surgery will happen. 2 week after surgery she will begin her radiation treatments in Edmonton. Radiation is 5 days a week and she will need 20 rounds which is 4 weeks. Kirbi is a single mother and is unable to work while going through treatment. She is doing her best to keep up financially but with the cost of this extra surgery and the upcoming travel back and forth to the city, as well as accommodations, she needs our help to fight this cancer.
