Kira's Cancer Battle

In September 2018, 5 year old Kira Wilkinson was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive, stage 4, rare form of brain cancer. Following an initial surgery, she underwent radiation alongside other therapies to try and slow the growth of the tumour. She is currently enduring  a second surgery as the tumour has continued to grow.  At this point, both conventional and alternative therapies tried haven't been successful. The family is seeking treatment outside of standard  OHIP funded therapies (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy) . They are hoping to access Individualized treatment plans in/and outside of Canada  This is their best hope for Kira's survival. 

 The expenses associated with treatments have been and will continue to be immense for the family as they fight for Kira's life. 
Understandably, Millie and Ben have stepped away from their careers  to focus on caring for Kira and for her brother, Tyler, spending as much time with them as possible. This has placed considerable financial strain on the family.  With love and gratitude, we are asking for support for this family as they navigate this journey.
