Kinder in Compton

I am PUMPED to be teaching kindergarten at ISANA, a public, tuition-free charter school in Compton (Los Angeles). ISANA means "sun" in Eastern Uganda, representing a new, bright day for every student.

School funding relies heavily on property taxes. This means that underserved communities like Compton have inequitable access to essential resources for promoting college and career readiness.

Unfortunately,  ISANA cannot afford to grant teachers stipends for building their classroom. As a first-year teacher, I am grateful for any help I can get. Please consider donating or sharing, thank you!
