Kim will now begin her 2nd battle with breast cancer in 8.4 years and she will have a total of 9 rounds of chemo, one treatment every 2 weeks. This is an aggressive schedule to shrink (2) tumors that have appeared and have spread to her lymph-nodes. Chemo begins next week on 2/1 and will end approx 5/10 and will be followed by surgery on 6/7 to remove the tumors and 6+ weeks of radiation. Total months of treatment will be 7 months long.
Since time off of work without pay will be inevitable in the upcoming weeks, this fund is being set up to support Kim's out of pocket medical expenses and misc expenses related to her new breast cancer battle, as well as her financial expenses for her and her family.
