Kim Keliinoi Medical Expenses
Hi friends, my name is Rachel Rebottaro and I have started this campaign to help support Kim and her family in this time of need. Please read through and don't be shy in sharing as well. Kim is like a mother to me and one of the most incredible women I have encountered and I know many feel this way about her.
On Friday morning, (March 16th) Kim was found by her son Jake in her bathroom concussed and bleeding on the floor. He rushed her to the hospital where, due to her injuries, she fell into a deep coma. She had fallen and fractured her skull, which caused swelling and bleeding in her brain. After a grueling 24 hours, she has come out of the coma, but due to the extent of her injuries is being kept sedated. We have hope and she is surrounded by people who love her, but she is still in need of a lot more care and will require outpatient treatment & PT as well. Currently she is getting frequent CT scans to monitor her brain pressure and make sure the bleed doesn't worsen, which would lead to surgery.
I am requesting help on the behalf of Kim's family, as Kim doesn't have health insurance and they will be paying out-of-pocket. Anyone who has met Kim knows the extent of her servant-like heart and overflowing love for all she encounters, and our hearts are breaking for this burden and trauma. Any and all support in this process would help, and I know the family would be humbled and comforted to have their community rise up in this way. So let's do this!
Sincerely,
Rachel Rebottaro

Update:
Thank you all for your prayers and your presence in the lives of the Keliinoi's this past couple weeks. It has been such and encouragement.
Kim passed away yesterday at 11:40 am. We are mostly without words. This has shocked our hearts so deeply and it's still unbelievable to our minds. Please bear with us while we are still working out all details regarding a visitation to celebrate the woman that showed all of us what love looks like.
Now more than ever the family is needing your support. The weight of the medical bill will fall to the family and as they are grieving this harsh loss, it's the last thing that they should have to worry about. Please share this page to help support them in this time.
The meal train has been a huge help and is another way to show love to them. I'll attach the link.

The family needs some space to grieve and process this so please respect their space in that way.
Thank you again for your support and prayers.
