I'm moving to China in January 2014 to teach English! One day, I simply said, "I want to move to China and teach English." Well, because I dared to dream, it's coming true right before my very eyes.

This grand opportunity is not only going to change my life, but the life of my family as well. I'm particularly excited for my children because it shows them no matter how young or old you are you can live your dreams!

I am seeking donations to help me offset the cost of airfare and various educational and living expenses. My goal is to raise $10,000 by 12/15/13 and I believe I will! If you are able to invest in my life-changing dream come true, please donate.

On behalf of my entire family, thank you so very much for your support. It is appreciated greatly!

After 25 hours in the air and three more hours lying over near the Persian Gulf, l made it back to these US shores safe and sound. Thank you, God! Many thanks to Denise Hokett-Scott for meeting me with open arms, hugs, and kisses at the airport (it was magical seeing you again) and to Latice Moore-Hammond for arranging her schedule to be there as well. You just continue to give so freely of yourself to us.

As soon as l landed, l hopped in my mini-van and darted to witness my first born receive his B1 Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF). He is so blessed to have received his first French Diploma before completing high school. This is no small feat which makes my family all the more humble. A plethora of thanks to Jibril Wallace for being his surrogate mother yesterday and making sure my gift of a son made it to the ceremony on time. I can still see the looks on all your faces when you saw me roll in the parking lot. I'm so glad my flight was not delayed and that l was there to witness it all. After missing so many Parker milestones in 2014, last night's celebration made up for that. I'm experiencing great jet lag, but will be back to my US EST-self by next week.

My husband and children have exclusive rights to me until further notice, of course, but I'll stay connected via social media during that time. Thank you all, once more, for your love and support. I'll chat with you soon. XOXO

'When you look at yourself and feel dissatisfaction about any part of you, you will continue to attract feelings of dissatisfaction, because the law mirrors back to you exactly what you are holding inside. Be in awe and wonder at the magnificence of you!'

~ Rhonda Byrne

l stood in awe at the love and wonder of God expressed through these and so many others the other night. What a most memorable 'Farewell!' celebration held in my honor. My students made pizza for me and made sure l got plenty! Then, Mr. Clown presented me with a fabulous bouquet of balloon flowers!

Farewell, indeed, China. My work here is not done. My return may not be swift, but l shall return!

To you, my relentless supporters, thank you all so very much! You have brought me just as much joy as my family in China. Your overall support and encouraging words have strengthened me when l needed them most. l will continue to pay it forward! I'm positioned like you would not believe and have no intentions on going back to 'business as usual.' How selfish that would be of me! So many are watching and waiting and you better believe l will do my best to help others rediscover who they really are and live as fully as they choose to live. I'm grateful God used me to inspire and encourage you and others. l am even more grateful that l will inspire so many more in the weeks and months ahead. Stay tuned, please! The greater unfolding is going to be spectacular! XOXO

Hey, hey, hey! I just came back from 85 degrees, a very popular bakery here, and as I was biting into my raspberry bread with fresh cranberries it hit me: I'll be leaving this land of splendor in seven days!

Bidding my students, parents, and China family 'Farewell!' has been laced with tons of tears. The look on my Small Star's faces when they learn I'm leaving breaks my heart. 'Nǐ bu huí lái, Mrs. Parker?' (You're not coming back, Mrs. Parker?) {sigh}

I'm going to go now. This is just way too hard. XOXO
