Kilt the Messenger's 2nd Album
Donation protected
We are Kilt the Messenger, a 5 piece, original band that combines Celtic Punk, American Rockabilly and an endless array of instruments to produce an amazingly diverse catalog of songs. 12 of which are featured on our second album, "Hellfire and Rescue".
We have funded this album completely by ourselves and it has taken us over two years, but finally the record is ready to go to the disk makers and the album jacket printers.
We are hoping to raise the $2500 needed to have the finished product in our hands before summer's end.
For a donation of $20 or more we will send you a copy, just be sure to include your address with your donation.
The song/video we have posted here is from the album. It is one of the softer songs on what is a hard-driving Celtic Punkabilly album, and it shows some of the versatility in our instrumentation. Check out some of our other YouTube videos to see what we do with bagpipes and electric guitars.
The third song on the album is "The Ballad of Vincent McCarthy", dedicated to a retired New York City fireman that I had the honor to call friend, and is the reason for the title. If you want to see some awesome firefighting scenes and hear a rousing, bagpipe driven tune, check out the video on YouTube.
We are 5 musicians/songwriters on a journey that so far has spanned 8 years. We believe passionately in what we are doing and we hope you come to believe too!!
