Kilns, Community, and Creative Practice in Tuscany

Tax deductible

This June, Art Shape Mammoth is excited return to Spannocchia, an educational and historical castello and foundation in Italy to introduce more people to this very special place and form new bonds and experiences around art and community!

At Spannocchia, makers will have the chance to sink deeper into their individual creative practices, as well as experience a supportive creative community. Residents will be constantly provided with opportunities to enrich and broaden their practices: food is grown, prepared, and shared on the property, the courtyards and fields open onto ever-changing land and sky, and makers and craftspeople share space and discuss art together. Spannocchia is also home to the 'Pig Palace,' a pig sty turned ceramics studio space. Two wood kilns complete this potter's dream!

Please join us in this adventure with the help of your donation. This fund raiser makes it possible for some of our artists to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

We have attached several gifts for donors to thank you for your support! Please include the name of the artist your donation will support and select a work from that artist's list) in the notes section of your donation.
