KidSport Okotoks All Kids Can Play

KidSport Okotoks needs your help! Kids will NO LONGER be able to play sport in Okotoks if their family is seeking financial assistance from KidSport Okotoks. The number of applications this year has exceeded our capacity. Economic times have made fundraising difficult, while at the same time increasing need in the community.
KidSport Okotoks provides funding assistance for local families with youth under 18 years of age who desire to get their children involved in sport, so they can experience the positive benefits, such as building friendships, developing teamwork and communication skills, and simply leading healthy lifestyles. To date in 2017, KidSport Okotoks has funded more youth than in all of 2016! 259 Youth have received grants for a total of $92, 799! In comparison, for all of 2016 we funded 228 grants for a total of $85,316. We still have 1/3 of our year left and applications are rolling in. Although it is wonderful to see our services being utilized, we no longer have funds and are unable to accept future applications. Please help us fundraise so ALL Kids Can Play in Okotoks.
