Lauren Needs Kidney!






Hello, my name is Lauren Hart and I’ve  been battling  kidney  failure for the last four years. I’ve included photos of my ups and downs to help you understand how much a roller coaster this condition really has been.
I’m currently on the waiting list to get a kidney(10year waiting list) Although a transpant is NOT  A CURE  this is going to make  life more bareable for me on a dialy basis and eliminate other issues that I’ve encountered 
Because of renal failure I’ve had over 15 surgeries, been septic in the hospital over 7 times, spent countless hours in the ER, and have been attending dialysis 3 days a week to sub stain life. All of this while having a 7 year old who I should be investing this time in. 

 Currently I’m dealing with SVC syndrome. When first diagnosed the treatment plan was to leave it due to the surgery having too high of a risk and a low survival rating.

The surgery is now a necessary which will require an interventional radiologist and cardiovascular surgeon to correct this. My surgery is with UCSF November 2’nd and I’m feeling confident they are up to it. But there are definitely some major risks involved. Any prayers you can send my way are greatly appreciated 


I  created this  page to raise awareness of my condition and it’s hard ships. Im attempting this in order to allow help from family and friends who have extended their generosity  
I’ know not everyone is able not to donate a kidney but wants to help in some other way.
