Joseph Voliva is a disabled Veteran, 82nd. Airborne Division, 11 Bravo Infantry Airborne and Air Assault Qualified, 30th. Infantry Brigade Combat Team, North Carolina Army National Guard. 19 Delta Mechanized Infantry Calvary Scouts. 1985'-1993'
Joseph needs a kidney immediately! Joseph's body is failing from being on dialysis 3x a week for over 6 years. We spent Thanksgiving in the hospital this year 2018, instead of at home with family, he has been in and out of the hospital with different procedures relating to being on dialysis and failing kidneys.
I am his wife and friend of 10 years, we are both disabled with little income to sustain ourselves, or afford costly anti rejection medication that insurance does not cover. Joseph Voliva was a heavy equipment operator after serving 7 years in the Military.
A traumatic workplace accident, (a dirt wall berm Joe was packing with heavy equipment roller gave way, sending Joe and roller tumbling down 75 feet, severely bruised kidneys, cracked ribs and his shoulder was completely destroyed) this is what doctors think led to his kidney failure in 2011. He was not fairly compensated in court for what would be unforeseen life long health affects. Joe has never said no to anyone who needed help, every winter you would find him with his Chainsaw or on the Tractor
clearing trees or driveways of snow and ice after storms for shut in's or families in need, or riding around looking for stranded people to pull from ditches, he was always working on someones car that didn't have enough money to afford a mechanic, anything you needed, Joe would be there to help if he could. We have 5 beautiful children between the 2 of us and we all love and need him very much!
please help with spreading the word, a kidney is our ultimate goal, Joe is O neg and on the Kidney Transplant list at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in North Carolina, any monetary amount you could donate to help with every day living and transportation expenses would be most greatly appreciated.
