Here is my story i am writing on behalf of myself and "Darrin" : This man is the best man of God I have ever met. No matter what is going on with him or how he is feeling he says God, his girls and everyone else always comes first. He says "A Pastor's heart is his people". I have seen Darrin wear a 24 hour antibiodic drip that is attached to him and he still wants to help everyone he can. It could be fixing a car or many other things. He says "its what God says for him to do". So Darrin is amazing! He has so much more to do and give. At 17 yrs old Darrin had A.L.L cancer ( childhood acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and God was good and removed that. 25 years ago he was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. It has been a hard road for him. He has nerve damage in both hands and feet. 5 years ago he started to lose his eye sight and for the last 5 years he has been receiving injections in both of his eyes. 1 year ago Darrin's health started to take a turn for the worse. This led us to find out he now is in (RENAL) "KIDNEY FAILURE" in which both kidneys had to start dialysis. This went on for 3 days a week , 4 hours a day. So now fast forward --Darrin continues to get worse month after month. 2 weeks ago he was admitted into the hospital. He now has a blood infection that is currently being treated. They also found blood clots in both his lungs. On top of all this he had a major seizure while i was there. It was the worst image i have seen my husband go through up until now. He turned blue as i watched all the medical staff run into his room and bring him back to me. He now has lost his vision completely in his right eye. The nerves now have detached from the eye, At this time we don't know if he will get that site back. So after waiting for over a year for a call from London Hospital about a kidney transplant it has finally come. Over the next 5 weeks the Doctors are working diligently on getting him healthy for the surgery! For me this means i have to work hard to prepare for the extensive medical expenses that lay ahead. Medications, medical equipment, transportation, overnight accommodation, home expenses, time off work and care for recovery. So i am pleading with you for any help you can graciously provide to help Darrin and I. I am so very appreciative words can not explain. I would do anything for him and this is our only hope. God bless everyone Please share his story. My daughter's Beki Crosby- Crosby and Dominiqua Crosby- Rivera are also very grateful for any help and blessings. He is an amazing man, father, and friend. We are not ready to let him go . God Bless
