$10 Sends Kiara to Stanford w/ NYLF

My name is Kiara Grimstead and I have just been selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Business Innovation Envision Program at the university of my dreams, Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. During this program I will experience academic and career insights into the field of business through interactive simulations, hands-on workshops, speakers and professional site visits. I will be given the opportunity to experience 8 days of college life on the campus of a top ranked institution for business, compete against my peers as I compete in an online, MBA-style corporate simulation that runs throughout the program, attend a unique and eye-opening career site visit to one of the nation's standout corporations driving today's economy. As well as learn first-hand from accomplished and innovative business professionals and entrepreneurs such as Jim Stteg, M.B.A. Executive Vice President & CEO of the San Diego Chargers and Ed Rensi, Former CEO of McDonald's.

I was selected by NYLF based on my proven academic excellence and have demonstrated extracurricular involvement, community service and other qualified academic and leadership achievement. My accomplishments include but are not limited to:

2010-2013 - Featured in the Who's Who of National Junior Honor Students

I am so very blessed to have been presented with this opportunity and pray that you may be able to assist my family with this expense. I am foregoing a 10 day educational tour to London in favor of this phenomenal opportunity. Though I know my mother would give me the world if she could, I realize that some things are just beyond her reach.
