Kewanee HS Life Skills Classroom

I teach a high school Life Skills classroom made up of students with a variety of special needs including multiple disabilities, physical disabilities, low functioning Autism, intellectual disabilities, and other health impairments. My students range in age from 14-22 years old. In our classroom, our main focus is on functional academic skills, employment skills, daily living skills, and community participation all in preparation for life after graduation (up tp age 22). 

Our class holds a number of fundraisers throughout the school year: greeting card sales, Christmas cookies, herb garden planters, t-shirt sales, bake sales, and a school store to fund our many community outings and to purchase small items needed for the classroom. We would like to raise additional funds this summer to purchase more expensive products as itemized below: 

* Flexible seating options- balance disk, balance ball chairs, four square pillow, Zenergy Ball Chair, etc.  
*Sensory processing items- Gel top sensory stimulator tray, noise-cancelling headphones, sound therapy machine, lunar light show, etc. 
*Fine motor products- Mixed peg set, plumber's puzzle, Better Boards, hand weights, manual dexterity boards
*Time management- Visual timer, apps for Autism 
*Transition- pre-voc work station, safety and survival kit, cookbooks with picture-supported directions 
*Oral Motor- Chewy tubes, Vibrochews, Chewigems, Whisperphones, GoTalk communication tools

I would appreciate any amount of help anyone is able give. I am hoping to raise enough money over the summer of 2018 to make purchases for the 2018-19 school year.  Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your consideration.
