- Allah said: Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you. [Bukhari, 5073]
- Allah also said: Verily those who give sadaqah, ... it shall be increased manifold, and theirs shall be an honourable good reward: Paradise. [Quran 57:18]
- The Prophet (PBUH) said: Good deeds that will reach a believer after his or her death are: charity that they gave during their lifetime when they were in good health; a mosque that [they] build; ... [Sahih Ibn Majih, 224]
- The Prophet (PBUH) also told us that every person will be shaded by his/her charity on the Day of Resurrection, the day on which the sun will be brought close to people's heads until Allah passes judgment between them. [Sahih Ibn Majih, 4510]
Khalid Bin Al-Walid Mosque serves a large section of the Muslims in Toronto and its vicinities (50,000+ in the GTA) by opening its doors for the:
- Free Iftar during Ramadan
- Free Suhuur during Ramadan
- Five Daily Prayers
- Weekly Friday Khutbah
- Eid Prayer Services
- Taraweed/Tahajud Prayers
- Islamic Classes & Halaqah
- Free Lectures at Khalid Mosque
- Free Funeral Services At Khalid Mosque
- Free Family Counselling Sessions,
- Islamic Summer School
- Hosting of Marriage Ceremonies
- annulment of Nikaah (Divorce),
- Youth Activity:
- And many more...
First and foremost, we are most grateful to Allah, the Magnificent and All-Powerful, and secondly, to all of our beloved Brothers and Sisters who have contributed generously and work deligently in building Khalid Bin Al-Walid Mosque.
Our noble and honorable Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said in an authentic Hadith: "Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him [or her] a house in Paradise" (Bukhari & Muslim).
Once again, we outpour our sincerest of gratitude and thanks to everyone who have contributed in whatever way to the completion of Khalid Bin Al-Walid Mosque.
Obviously, without the Help of Allah, we would not be able to have a Masjid today. All praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
However, the Masjid is still in need of your generosity and support in order to achieve its goals of serving the Muslim community.
The Masjid will try its best to offer services/programs free of charge with the help of donations from our respected brothers and sisters thus, benefitting the community at large.
Therefore, your invaluable contribution and continuous support would be deeply appreciated and greatly rewarded in the Hereafter.
Currently, the operating cost of the Masjid is very demanding and challenging. As such, we are strongly appealing to all Muslims locally and internationally to donate generously towards the maintainance of the House of Allaah.
Spending in the cause of Allah will never decrease your wealth, on the contrary it will definitely increase your reward in the Hereafter.
