Kexborough Chiefs JFC - Vandalism Raiser

Donation protected
On the evening of 29th December 2018, Kexborough Chiefs Junior Football Club was the victim of mindless vandalism.  Our lock up which housed all of the necessary equipment and match day nets was set alight with everything inside lost.

This Container held everything needed for our Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 11s, Under 12s and U13s teams meaning over 100 children have suffered from this needless, senseless act of vandalism.

Anyone who has been involved with a grassroots club will know that money is always tight due to investment continually being needed to allow children of the area a chance to play a sport they love.  At Kexborough Chiefs we pride ourselves on providing sport for ALL at a very low "break even" cost so the funds to replace this equipment are not readily available.

The loss of equipment is not what has damaged our fantastic club the most, its knowing that this has directly effected the children of our club who are without equipment to enable them to get out of the house and socialise with other's who have a love for the sport.

Any donation received will go directly back to replace all lost equipment, as well as industrial cleaning and repairing the current lock up which will be moved to a safer location.

We sincerely thank everyone who has already rallied around us at this time and would also like the thank anyone who donates moving forward.  We are determined not to allow this to destroy our club for the sake of the children and with everyone's help, we are confident we can come back stronger.

Thank you,
Dan Connelly
