Help raise money for Kerry

Our beautiful cousin Kerry has recently undergone yet another life-changing surgery for her ongoing illness with Crohn's so we thought we would ask her friends and family if they could possibly donate towards the cost of a cart she has her eye on. Any extra will be donated towards Crohn's and Colitis UK.

Kerrys battle with Crohn's has changed her whole life, the once vivacious, outgoing young lady now lives her life in constant pain, having anxiety disorders on trips about whether there are suitable facilities nearby in the off chance she might need them. Hopefully after her third major surgery, Kerry can regain some normality and fulfill a dream of hers.

As many of you know Kerry is a keen animal lover and always has been anyone local to her will know as she often takes her Shetland pony Bruce out for walks like you would your dog! Due to her surgeries and deteriorating health she's had to give up on her riding and has instead went in a different horse riding option of carting which both her and Bruce love.

Kerrys poor health has meant she has struggled to work, although she is far from work shy having worked full-time from 16 years old. This awful disease robbed her of her independence. Although she is unable to work at present, it is something she wants to work towards. Bruce and carting gives her the normality she craves so if people could kindly donate towards the cost of a cart for Kerry it would be so appreciated and a dream come true, it would also give her something to focus on after such a major surgery.
