Thousands of people have been put up in relief camps across Kerala. According to an early government assessment, 20,000 houses and nearly 6,000 miles of roads have been completely damaged, adding up to a total preliminary loss of almost $1 billion.

Thousands of stranded people are waiting for rescue as relentless monsoon floods continue to batter the south Indian state of Kerala. The 2018 catastrophic floods is a result of the unusually severe Southwest monsoon that lashed the state for several days.

How can you help?

You can donate through this GoFundMe campaign, of with 100% of proceeds will go to the relief fund. Alternatively, you could buy one of the many Kerala themed t-shirts we have on our website , of which 100% of profits will go to the cause. We request that you help in any way you can, even if that is just sharing this GoFundMe page on your social media to raise awareness.

Where does your money go?

We have created this campaign as this is an easier way for everyone to donate from outside India. We will be transferring all the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund  and to other charitable organisations who are directly helping victims of the disaster such as World Vision India, Oxfam India, and Habitat for Humanity.

We will be transparent as possible by posting updates on this GoFundMe campaign about how your money is used or where it has been donated to.

Who are we?

We are a group of Indian youth based in Dublin, Ireland who are passionate about making a difference. We also run an Indo-western clothing brand named Raj Apparel. 100% of our profits for the month of August & September will be donated via this GoFundMe campaign.
