Ker & Downey Hurricane Relief

Houston is in the process of recovering. The devastating floods caused by Hurricane Harvey have left thousands without inhabitable homes. The future is uncertain for many who are struggling to keep a sense of normalcy for their children and provide the basics for their families.

 This was the costliest and worst natural disaster in American history and the need for assistance is massive. The pace of the fourth largest city in the country has slowed as people work to pick up the pieces of their lives in the wake of a storm that dumped a historic level of rain on a large area of Texas, filling homes with several feet of water. The outpouring of help and concern has been immeasurable, but there is still a lot of work to do to make sure that this place we call home can feel that way again.

Ker & Downey has always made it a priority to give back to communities in the destinations we visit from Asia to Africa. Now it is time for us to assist our neighbors. The people of Texas and the United States have responded quickly to reach out and provide a helping hand. But there is still so much more work to be done. It will take months.

 We are asking you to join us in serving the local families in our community as it rebuilds.  All of the donations will be used locally to ensure that the Houston community can become stronger and better than it was before Hurricane Harvey came and shook our lives, but not our spirit to serve others.
