Kennedy's Battle with Cancer

In December 2016, Kennedy Parker was diagnosed with SARCOMA CANCER at 21 years of age. Kennedy and my daughter have grown up together in the south suburbs and remain best friends to this day.  In fact, Kennedy is like a daughter to me.  Because I consider her a member of my own family, there is no limit to how far I will go to help her in this time of great need.

Kennedy has to endure chemotherapy treatments for at least two years.  She will have to have her jaw surgically removed and have a new jaw grafted with a bone taken from her leg.  Her family is overwhelmed with this tragedy—and by the medical expenses. Her mom is a single parent who cares for Kennedy, her sister, and for her own mother.  Kennedy’s mother is proud and would not ask anyone for a dime.  But I am the unwavering friend that knows she needs the support. 

That’s why I am asking that you please support this worthy cause and to pray for my daughter’s best friend, Kennedy.  Kennedy’s spirits are very high, but she has a long road to recovery ahead.  I need the prayer warriors among you to stand and pray that God sees Kennedy and her family through this trial.
