A Savings Fund for Kendra's Boys

To say Chris and Kendra have had the year from hell is an understatement; Chris's father and sister both passed away unexpectedly, and then their world was completely turned upside-down once again when Kendra was diagnosed with cancer that has now spread to multiple parts of her body and is in Stage IV. Kendra has endured painful surgeries (including the removal of part of her spine, which is now held together by metal rods), as well as radiation and other treatments. Treatment for cancer has taken an incredible toll on their family emotionally; but it has also depleted their finances. 

Chris and Kendra live in New Baltimore, Michigan with their three boys - nine year-old twins (one of whom has special needs) and a four year-old. They want to make sure they have adequate savings for the boys, no matter what happens in the future. It would alleviate a lot of stress to know they are financially secure. Kendra is fighting this cancer like hell but it's been a long, hard road.
