Many of you know Ken Schwan, owner Monterey Bay Caterers. You may or may not know his about his love for Baseball and annual motorcycle rides to Arizona to watch Spring Training
March 16th Ken and his friend were riding back from Spring Training and were about to stop for break at a Starbucks when Ken was in a tragic accident. He was T-boned by a tow truck. His injuires required he be flown to trauma center. Ken is suffering from many broken and fractured bones. He has undergone multiple surgeries so far and has more to go. But at this point, is awake and alert and starting the process of recovery.
He is still in Hospital in Palm Springs. One of his brothers drove his wife down immediately when they got the news. So he's had Kathy by his side until he's in good enough condition to move closer to home.
His friend was not involved in the accident.
But stayed with him throughout the day and evening until his family arrived that night.
The good new is, while he has a long road to recover, Ken is expected to be Ok. The expensises are going to be astronomical and a lot of people have asked about a go fund me for them.
So if you are willing to contribute, our support is much appreciate. Otherwise, I am just asking that you will please keep Ken and Kathy in your prayers.
