Keeping by Jason's Side

My big brother Jason's determination knows no bounds. Sacha's Park, one of thetmost accessible parks ever built in memory og his son Sacha, is a great example of that determination. A couple of years ago, Jason suffered a widow-maker heart attack. He bounced back by embracing a healthy lifestyle, running, and mountain biking.  On July 6, 2018 Jason was seriously injured in an horific crash on his mountain bike. His helmet likely saved him some severe head injuries. It's believed he hit something and twisted the handle bars and the lower part of his face took the full impact. He suffered severe facial injuries, will be in hospital for a few weeks to undergo surgeries to repair the broken bones in his face. He's currently on a respirator to help him breathe because of the trauma to his face. In one sense Jason  is lucky because it's all bone that took the full impact. In the other sense, it is be very painful.  The prognosis is very good, he's stable (not critical) and is expected to fully recover. But it will take time. He's a fighter and will pull through with the same determination (and grace, too) that he does everything with. But the road ahead is going to be tough. If you pray, please keep him in your prayers. If you don't pray, please keep him in your thoughts. His amazing girlfriend Crystal is by his side,band will be there untiluhes released. This request is to help offset some of Crystal's expenses while she's at Jason's side. Crystal is an amazingly talented artist. She runs workshopsand classes and paints for a living. Unlike those of us lucky enough to work where we can take paid vacation, or a leave of absence, Crystal has the double-whammy of putting her work on hold and the cost to stay at a hotel across from the hospital.  We're all blessed with the same ability to help those who need it most. Sometimes we give help, sinetsomewe need it. Please help however you can. Love the Cheniers
