Keep The Dessertery Shawnee

The Dessertery has lost our space in Shawnee and we are being forced to close or move. This has been heartbreaking because we have been so embraced by our community and growing. We were on track to make a profit before our first years end.  

We would love to stay open and stay in West Shawnee, and based on our growing sales we feel we have a home here.   Since we have opened we have done our best to support our community including donating and doing fundraising. This has given us even more opportunity to serve and meet so many wonderful people.  As the owner I am so personally thankful for all the support I received. Regardless of what happens Shawnee and her people will always have huge place in my heart because of how everyone embraced us. We were on the verge of growth when all this occured and I believe we will continue to grow if given the chance.  Last but not least, it may not seem like a lot but I have 10 employee who count on me to The Dessertery - I cannot fathom letting them down.

Some of the cost of moving will be buying equipment that had come with the space we were using. We have some of the best neighbors in the world who have offered to loan us some of the equipment we need but there is a little more to buy, plus all the deposits. ( a fridge, freezer, ice and espresso machine)

I believe there is a place in our lives for a little more sweetness. A space where you can indulge a little.

Please help me keep my dream a live. Help me keep my employees working.
