Keep Thao in the United States

Today was a day of terrible unfair news. My friend Thao Vo, who until last fall was a valued employee of mine that had made a few mistakes in his late teens, was working hard to turn his world around and head down a better life’s path. He was pulled of the streets by An immigration Officer last fall and spent over 6 months incarcerated for no reason. Yes Thao made a mistake a few years ago and did his time for a marijuana charge. The problem is, Thao came to the United States from Vietnam with his family when he was just 5 years old. Neither he or his mom ever became a US citizen, just stayed here on a green card. They are a hardworking family and have always made their way with out the help of others. He now needs our help, today he was informed that in 60 days he will be being deported back to a country he knows nothing about and has no family there to help him navigate. The hope is to fight this deportation and that is going to take lawyers and as we know they do not come cheap. Thao has listed for sale absolutely everything he has of value and we know that will not be enough. His girlfriend and her two daughters are absolutely devastated to lose Thao from their lives. He is the girls caregiver while Desiree works her job at the hospital. He picks up and drops them at school and work every day. The emotional toll that this deportation will take on this young mother and her daughters is immeasurable. Please help! Please donate anything you can to help Thao and his family stay together.
