Keep Me In Mind: Web Series

Green Brain Media in association with Blue Starling Films are pleased to announce their new project, Keep Me In Mind: a short comedy about lost love, second chances and minor accidents.  We'll be releasing the completed project on Vimeo as a three-part webisode.

As of March 2017, we've shot 90% of the film, and are delighted with what we've got so far. But we need a further shoot to pick up the scenes and shots we weren't able to get the first time round. And for that, we need your help. 

All money raised will go toward production costs, as our talented cast and crew are generously working for free.

The Plot: 
Martin (Joel Famularo) has an unexpected encounter with his ex-girlfriend Emily (Jeni Bezuidenhout) when she steps in the way of his oncoming bike. The aftermath of the resulting accident forces them to spend the day together, rekindling their attraction. Will Martin and Emily give love a second chance?

The Project
Written and directed by Mileta Rien, Keep Me In Mind will feature:

·         a rescue from an oncoming train

·         live performances by Melbourne musicians 8 Foot Felix and Jules Berne

·         a song especially recorded for the film by Steph    Xeno

·         songs by Melbourne’s beloved funk-soul band The Bamboos

 
The Place
Keep Me In Mind is shot on location in the bars, backyards and backstreets of Melbourne’s inner north, and reflects the vibrant cultural scene of that area, especially its diverse musical landscape.
