Keep Mama Here

On July 22nd, Marty Guzman suffered a stroke and has been recovering slowly, first at Kaiser and now in John Muir in Walnut Creek.  While he is showing improvement and participating in physical therapy on a daily basis, his current discharge date from John Muir is unknown.  Erika has been spending day and night in the hospital with Marty and her mother, who splits time between the US and the Philippines has been staying with Erika and Marty's three sons and taking care of all the household needs.  However, Erika's mother was scheduled to return to the Philippines this Sunday, August 5th and they were hoping that she could extend her stay so that Erika can continue focusing on Marty.  The cost to change her flight is $840 and this is a cost that is difficult for the family right now.  Please donate to keep Mama in town!
