Keep Hunter Housed (plus us)

Spende geschützt

My dear friends and family. It is official. We need some serious help. We have exhausted all mediums we can, and are on a serious time limit.

In Februaury, our household was needing to find a new place. I was 8 months pregnant with our son Hunter. We found a condo in Redmond, and thought Hunters first home was settled for the first year of his life. In April, pipes in the kitchen and master bathroom burst inside the walls. This caused our landlord to make an elective remodel decision in May, giving us initially 4 days to find a new place but after fighting and seeking legal councel pushed to 15 days before threatening to start the eviction process. I searched all over north western Washington, from Newcastle to Everett, to Edmonds to Monroe. We were set on a path by a Family member to find a mobile home for sale in the price range of $30,000-120,000. This family member would treat us like tenants, and we would do a rent to own. Everything we found was either available after July, too far of a commute, or in such disrepair it was unlivable. Apartments for rent were a similar no go. Not enough bedrooms or bathrooms, or not available till mid July, or way out of our price range. We finally found a mobile home in Duvall for $60,000, placed our offer for $50,000, and our offer was accepted. We went through the approval process with the park, and we were approved. The seller has been very kind, and very patient. Once I informed our family member of the good news, this person was no longer able to help us with their loan.

We went to lenders at that point, and found three that work with mobile homes in a park, that were built prior to 2000. Ours is a 1989. Ran into more complications: me on maternity leave (no pay stubs) and James not having a long enough period with debt to income payoff. So Jared and James went through the loan process. We got a pre-approval letter from a lender in Tennessee. The seller went above and beyond normal expectations and let us move in with that letter alone. On Friday 6/9, our lender decided to not fund our loan due to a new unfounded belief that our debt to income ratio was not high enough, not telling us this until after we had paid $2,500 down payment, the park, and all the moving costs to get here. The seller is locked into working with us, and deserves her money. I have probably lost my job, because I have been dealing with this situation 10 hours a day every day, and not been able to find daycare. I am breastfeeding, and due to the stress also had milk supply trouble. If we can't pay the seller, and have to leave, we will have to put all of our stuff in storage, and scrape together enough money to live in a hotel, till we can save up enough to move again, for the second time in Hunters 4 month life span. We will be attempting to restart the loan process with another lender, or resend the documents to our current lender on Monday, but I can't stand by and wait until then without making some effort to pay the seller what we owe. James and Jared both are up for promotions at their job, but that won't take effect till next month. We can't live here a month without giving something to the seller.

Please, if you can find it in your hearts dear friends and family to help us keep a roof over Hunter's head. Every single dollar helps. We are running out of time, and we're running out of resources. I don't know what else to do.
