PLEASE HELP US KEEP ABBY HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
We at Project Precious Rescue were asked to help find a home for a dog named Abby - her dad Eddie was being forced out of his apartment with only two weeks notice because the landlord all of a sudden decided he didn't want Abby there anymore... after she had been there for FOUR years.
Eddie absolutely did not want to find his girl Abby a new home or bring her back to the shelter he originally adopted her from, and after speaking with him it was evident he would do whatever it takes to make things work. That's when we realized that we had to do whatever we could to help keep Abby home with her dad.
We started on an apartment search with a much lower budget than is normal in the Stamford area. By a true Christmas miracle, a friend and realtor named Jennifer found a place for Eddie and his girl in his budget! Eddie went to see the apartment, and it is just big enough for them - and has a wonderful back yard!
Here is where we need YOUR help. Eddie needs first month's rent, and a security deposit in order to be approved and move in on Jan 1st. He is on a fixed income, and the only way this will work out for Eddie and Abby is if we can raise this money in time for the move in day. Project Precious Rescue will be covering the required fee in order for a dog to stay in the apartment.
PLEASE consider donating to this wonderful man and his beloved dog. He could have taken the opposite route and dropped his dog off in a shelter. Instead, he asked for help and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his dog! We admire Eddie for being an amazing, COMMITTED dog dad! Please share his story! Every single cent raised will go to Abby and her dad.
