Keep a school open for rural Nepali children

Uttam Giri has kept Medaka Family School running for the last 20 years in rural Saping, Nepal.
He has educated over 800 students, grades 1-5, providing them with basic education, clothing, school supplies and lunch 6 days a week.
Children walk up to 3 hours to attend school each day.
Uttam is a native of Saping and dreamed of bringing a quality elementary/primary school to his childhood home. A chance friendship with a Japanese foundation allowed Uttam to fund the school for many years.
Now, he is in need of funding to keep the school open and running for the next generation of students.
His school has not only provided educational experiences to the children of Saping but has brought modern sanitation, hygiene practices and technology to the local community.
He runs his private school free of cost, except for a small fee paid by parents to cover half the cost of the child's lunch each day.
Also, because his school is considered private he receives no government funding or NGO aid.
Uttam also hosts international volunteers , exposing his students to cultural experiences and English lessons by native English speakers.
Children receive instruction in all government mandated subjects including Nepali, English, Science, Math and Social Subjects. Uttam has also built a Nepali/English library for students to use.
A recently created law is requiring Uttam to pay his teachers a base amount, which he wants to do but is more than he can currently afford. The school was also damaged in the 2015 earthquake and had to be rebuilt, which has added to his costs. In addition, running a school simply costs money as he provides the students with all of the materials needed.
We are asking for your support in order to keep the school open for the next year and beyond.

A donation of $30 dollars will support all students for a day.
A donations of $75 dollars will support a class for 2 weeks.
A donation of $135 dollars will fund 1 teacher's salary for a month.
A donation of $150 will support a student for a year.
A donation of $200 will fund the entire school's supplies and clothing for a month.
A donation of $700 will fund all the teacher's salaries for a month.
A donation of $1000 will fund the school for a month.
