Track and Field Uniforms

Hey!

This year a dream of mine of coming true;I have been given the opportunity to coach a Track & Field team. Not only that, but the first   ever Track & Field team this school has ever had.  It´s a small school with only one other sports team (Cross Country) and yet, we´re expecting about 30 kids (practically 1/4 of the student body!) to join the team.  

There´s a lot I want to be able to provide this team; I want to be able to teach them to love running and competing; to love the sport whether they win or lose; to support and encourage anyone competing, whether it´s our school or another; and, to learn to love their own perserverence and even short-comings.  Myself and the other coaches can do that for them. 

But there is something we cannot do without the help of others. There  is something else I believe this team deserves:

The reason for this Gofundme; NEW UNIFORMS. 

As a thank you to the school for giving me this opportunity, and as a gift of love and support for the runners, I´d like to be able to surprise the team with brand-new uniforms! 

Each uniform costs approximately $31 ($16 for the top, $15 for the shorts). The photo i´ve provided is only a mock-up of the uniforms (the logo and wording will be different). These uniforms will be the first of   their kind for the school, and will be used for both the Track and Cross Country team. 

I have decided to take this task on myself; with permission, but without assistance from the school. I have done this so that it may be a surprise to the students and parents; and because I want to show the runners how amazing it is when people who don´t know you show that they care nonetheless.
