Kern County, in partnership with Friends of the Kern County Animal Shelters Foundation, is proud to announce Kern County Pets for Vets, a program offering free pet adoptions to all Veterans and their families.
Kern County Pets for Vets will cover all costs and fees associated with adopting a dog or cat from any of the animal shelters operated by Kern County Animal Services.
Free adoptions are available to Active Duty, Reserve and Veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard and/or their immediate family members.
With your donations, we hope to continue to offer our County's veterans free pet adoptions throughout the year.
