I believe the Lord speaks in many ways to everyone, and calls them to go out and spread the promise of his love and endless forgiveness. We are all amazingly blessed to have been exposed to the knowledge of the scripture and the hope that it provides, and this is not something that we should keep to ourselves. Not only have I been gifted with the knowledge of the scripture but I have also been surrounded by so many people that allow me to see how amazing life can be when you put God, and his wishes and desires for your life first. Attending the University of Georgia has allowed me to see how easy it is for the desires of the world to take precedence over that of God. However, I have been extremely blessed to gain an amazing friend group that desires to grow closer to Christ, and share that desire with those around them.
These amazing friends have opened one of the greatest opportunities for me to experience God’s love while also sharing it with others. This summer I am going on a mission trip with New Hope Baptist Church to Mae Hong Son, Thailand, more specifically Long Neck Village for twelve days. Here the team will be ministering through teaching ESL, sports, medical, light construction and local block parties in order to spread the Gospel. However, working at Papa John’s while going to school does not lead for optimal funds to afford such an amazing experience. So I ask each one of you to pray that God will lead you to do what you can to support me on this incredible journey and every dollar would mean so much to me. If you cannot help with this fund, the only thing I ask for is a simple prayer for safety and that God will work in miraculous ways through our trip and allow people to hear and learn about God’s amazing wonder, love, power, and mercy for all. This knowledge and the application of his love to your life is truly greater than any monetary value.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. who loved me and gave himself for me.
