My name is Janis Anderson. I am a Registered Nurse. My beginning in healthcare was as an EMT/Paramedic. I am so proud of the experience I gained working in EMS on an ambulance helping people. Wouldn’t trade that experience for anything!
Karyn Essenpress, my niece, is also a Paramedic with many years of experience. Now though, she is in a tough fight for her life due to lung and brain cancer. She was let go from her job and is having to pay a high amount for insurance out of her pocket as well as some other expenses insurance doesn’t cover. 
EMT/Paramedics stand together and support each other. Everyone in healthcare knows how much we love each other and helping others.
