Iceland Spartan Race

As many of you know, I have spent the last couple years participating in Spartan races around the western part of the US. My most recent feat was completing an Ultra Beast, which took me 27 miles and 55 obstacles up into the beautiful Colorado Rockies.
This December 16th, I have the once in a lifetime chance to push my limits even farther in a 24 hour Spartan Event - the Ultra World Championship in Iceland.

I can't do this without the help of my family and friends. Your donations will help me with my travel expenses, accomodations and the gear I will need to succeed in the winter conditions of this amazing country. Among the necessary items is a support crew, and my mom, Karen, will be joining me on my journey to provide motivation, comfort and encoragement, so your funds will also be used to offset her travel expenses.

Some of you know how far I have come in the last 10 years with my physical health and fitness, having lost 85 pounds and transforming my life and career by becoming a fitness instructor. I feel this would be an opportunity to show so many people that it is never too late to change your life and find out what you are truly capable of.
