Please help support Kathy Rader burial and memorial arrangements.

We will be celebrating Kathy Rader’s life with a memorial on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at 1:30pm at New Life Christian Fellowship Church located at 7849 Tommy Drive, San Diego, CA 92119. There will be food, desserts and refreshments before and after the memorial service.

If you are able help the family with any level of donation for burial and memorial arrangements for Kathy that would be a blessing and an honorable way to celebrate her faithful life.

Eternal thanks for those that contributed to her recovery care last year, which helped to get her the necessary treatment to live for a year after contracting Leukemia.

Here is a synopsis of Kathy’s journey. Last June, Kathy became very sick with Leukemia and also contracted an infection.  The leukemia would have ended her life within a week. However, God worked a miracle in her life.  Through chemo treatments, and eventually a bone marrow transplant from a 31-year-old German man, the Lord allowed her to go into remission. Kathy had to go through almost daily infusions of different medicines and fluids, but through all of this she kept her fighting spirit going. Kathy was constantly thinking and praying for others, making them laugh and wanting to help where she could.

By God’s planned timing, the Leukemia came back about a month and a half ago. The donor cells from the transplant were not taking hold the way they wanted them to do, so Kathy had one round of light chemo to try and prevent the Leukemia from taking over. She was going to start another round of light chemo in a week, however, the Graft versus Host disease got into her internal organs, specifically her kidneys and liver.

We are planning a memorial for Kathy that will take place on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 1:30pm at New Life Christian Fellowship Church, 7849 Tommy Drive, San Diego, CA  92119. Kathy was one of the founding members of New Life and a faithful servant, as well as at Lighthouse Baptist Church, and at Fair Havens Baptist Church. The memorial will take place at 1:30pm with food, dessert, and refreshments both before and after the memorial.

Again, if you are able to help, even a small amount, with the costs for her final arrangements, your assistance would be so gratefully appreciated by her husband Bud, and children Eric and Anita. Thank you so much!
