Hello guys, my name is Kassim and I am an independent artist from Riverdale Maryland.
I am creating this campaign because I just found out last minute that I have the oppurtunity to perform at an event during the SXSW Music Festival this upcoming month. Anyone who knows me knows that this has been a dream of mine. I have been working on music since I can remember. I always told myself that one day I will perform at every music festival possible, and now that day has come.
The money you are helping me raise will help pay for my last minute plane ticket to Austin TX, along with food, transportation and a place to stay during my trip.
This means so much to me because I will be given the oppurtunity to share my art with a large population of people. This trip has the potential to be life changing and it's a reminder that hard work and dedication does not go in vain.
Honestly speaking, any donation at this point would mean the world to me. I will write a personal letter to anyone who donates just to show you the extent of my gratitude. And if you can't donate to me at least do me the favor and share it with your friends and family. TRUST ME this is going to be huge.
