On May 15, 2016, at the age of 32, Kasey sustained a ruptured cerebral aneurysm, which caused a stroke landing her in the SICU for 12 days.
Kasey has incredibly, against all odds, survived a terrible injury that takes entirely too many lives, and without warning. Although she had made it through the trauma, now the healing begins. We are being told this will take months, if not a year, to be back to her old self. The recovery process is slow, and tedious. But, we are all in this together. We love you, Kasey!
