On March 11th, our beloved Michael (aka "Mikey" or "Karp") Karpovich, was tragically injured in an altercation. He suffered a bilateral, traumatic brain injury, caused from excessive force. He has currently been in ICU for 22 days. While his progress has been miraculous, he has a long and arduous journey of rehabilitation ahead of him. I'm sure you can imagine the tremendous costs associated with the hospital ICU stay and the ongoing rehab. The totals are already in the hundreds of thousands. Even if you are not able to donate, Mike will continue to need love, support and prayers!
We, as a family, have discovered that Mike has touched so very many lives. He is loved more than we ever imagined. He's certainly always been one of OUR favorites! Mike is a wonderful dad to his 21 year old son, a loyal and steadfast brother/brother-in-law, and a fun and cherished nephew/cousin. It turns out he is also a beloved coworker as shown by the love and support of his work family. Mike loves his dog, Dexter, the Spartans, fishing, Words-With-Friends and music. He is one of the funniest human beings you will ever meet.
