Karina Graham's Fight Against Leukemia

Karina Graham is a loving wife and the mother of three beautiful children. She was recently diagnosed with Acute Leukemia.  She has been receiving treatment at Northside Hospital in Atlanta since February 6th but quickly found out her insurance isn't accepted by the Hospital. She has since switched providers but the new coverage doesn't begin until the 1st of March. This means she will be absorbing the costs for the first month of cancer treatment which is likely going to be substantial. The overall cost is unknown as treatment is ongoing but given the biopsies, drugs, pathology, chemotherapy,  and overnight stays, it could easily surpass $500,000 in just a few weeks. 

Karina 's husband Kevin is now tasked with taking care of the kids and working as much as he can to support the family himself.  I have known Karina for only one year but already know she is a wonderful giving person who has had a positive effect on the lives of many others. I know from experience that suffering from Leukemia is a monumental challenge for any family. She will be bedridden for many months and likely unable to work for the rest of the year.
