Karen's Road to Recovery

Many of you reading this post may or may not know my mom Karen Jennings. Regardless, this post illustrates what she has done and been for so many as a lover, a giver, and a whole-hearted woman of faith. This may sound cliché, but I honestly would not be the young man that I am today without this woman in my life.
Her loving personality has always helped those lacking encouragement, faith, and hope. She has these past few months suffered from a brain aneurysm and it has been a steady road to recovery since the surgery. Now it’s time for us to step up to the plate and lend a helping hand!
We have decided to raise money by putting together this campaign in her honor for all that she has done for our family and friends. This money would serve as a solid base for the rest of her recovery and would give us hope for the future. Your donations would help us to fund what is necessary for at least a years worth of night time home care.
We understand that everyone has their personal financial needs to look after, but our goal is to have the money raised over the course of this year. Nonetheless, any proceeds that may fall after 2017 would be sincerely appreciated as well.
We have been substantially blessed to receive all of the love, encouragement, and support. She absolutely needs each and every one of us to make it through this fight. There is power in prayer and my family is remaining positive and convinced that truly with God, anything and everything is possible (Mark 9:23). We would be so extremely delighted to know that we could continue to provide her with the care and support needed to get her back to the same loving and caring woman that her family and friends have always known her to be.
