Karen's Jump Start To Success

I followed my heart and my prayers were answered...as most of you know, the past few years have been challenging career and health wise for Steve and myself. I've wanted to get back into real estate, a field I love and am good at, but let limitations in my mind get in the way. Thus, I've been searching and searching for "just jobs" and getting nowhere. Till last week when I decided t follow my heart and answer a real estate agent ad. Within just two days, I now have an upcoming position where I will be paid a salary while getting my license (old one was expired), the cost of the course--$600--will be covered, and I'm going with a company (a KW franchise, the best of the big companies, IMO) where I will have to do no lead generation and minimal paperwork! The best part is, I feel at home with this dynamic team, and am confident I can be successful! Here is the tricky part--I have to drive 40 miles one way to the office during the 3-4 weeks I'm on salary and getting my license. Our savings are depleted, and we are moving from place to place house sitting. Still about 40 miles away, though. It took me half a tank of gas to get to the interview Friday and back. We now have $30 and a quarter tank of gas. I'm asking for help with gas money, as well as money for a short-term rental near the office. Also, I only have gym shoes, boots, one pair of pants and a few tops. I need some clothes! I have a hard time finding things at Good will because of my size. Mostly what I see are clothes from the 90s that I already had.  Some of you are probably thinking, "why don't Karen and Steve just work at menial jobs to bring in cash..." Well, we would have no problem with that except that due to multiple health issues, neither of us is able to stand on our feet for more than about 30 min at a time. Steve DOES have a temp job lined up but it does not start till the end of March. Update: now the temp job is in nowhere land...We appreciate any help so I can take this position at KW, and fulfill my purpose in life! Thank you.
