Karen's Bucket List

Hello there! My name is Courtney. My sister Bailey, our father Barry and I would like to tell you about our amazing mom/ wife and why we decided to start a go fund me for her. Our moms name is Karen. She is the beautiful woman you see in the picture with Bailey and myself. In May 2012 our mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and a mastectomy she was given a clean bill of health in October 2012 . She underwent breast reconstruction and another mastectomy followed by 6 additional breast surgeries. In May 2017 she would of been 5 years cancer free which is a huge milestone for cancer survivors. Two months before that 5 year mark my mom was re-diagnosed with MET (Metastatic Cancer). She now has this in her hip, spine and a few other places. We are lucky that the doctors caught it before it had reached her organs or brain, it is currently only in her bones. This form of cancer is incurable. There is a 22% chance of her living past 5 years. Our mom is the toughest woman we know and we know that she is going to push through and persevere much longer then 5 years. But in the end we cannot predict the future and we don't want to waste a single minute not enjoying the time we all have left together. We started the go fund me account so she has the money she needs to do what she has always wanted. We don't want her to worry about the little things like money, we just want her to live. All the money donated will go straight to our mom to help her accomplish all those things that she hasn't yet been able too.

She has always given so much to not only us and our dad but to everyone around her and now we feel it is time to give back to her. So please donate what you can every cent helps and I can speak from all of us that it means the world that you have even taken your time to read this. Thank you ❤
