Karens illness expenses

My name is Cindy Clark and I have been a friend of Karen Sorensen for over 23 years.  She is one of my closest friends.  I was trying to find a way to help her out and thought this Go FundMe page would be a good idea.  She's had a rough go of it this last month with getting the flu and then now being diagnosed with Shingles.  She missed two weeks of both her jobs with the flu and now will miss three more with Shingles.  If you have had them before, you know how incredibly painful they are.  Her blisters are on her face and the biggest concern is the blister on her eyelid and ones forming on her lash line.  If they get into her eye, it can cause blindness.  She has to go to the eye doctor every other day to check on it this week.  A lot of costs are coming out of her pocket.  Shingles is caused by lowered immune systems and stress.  She is supposed to be stress-free so it clears up faster but missing over a month of work is not helping with the stress of money.  I'm trying to get help with the rest of this month's rent, bills, food, gas to get the kids to school and all their activities plus starting on next month's rent.  Corey does work but his income is not enough for five people to be a one income family.
