Kareem's Wheelchair Van Fund

On Nov. 27, Kareem was in an automobile accident that caused a severe traumatic brain injury.  As a result of this crash, he is now in a specialized wheelchair that can not be easily lifted or folded.  It is also very difficult to help Kareem get in and out of the van by myself.  His injuries also make it unsafe for him to sit in a regular car seat for anything longer than a short trip.  

His doctors and therapists have recommended that I get a van with a wheelchair lift and tie-downs so that Kareem can ride in his chair in our van.  

The money would be used to either pay for modifying the family minivan to accomodate Kareem, or to trade our van in and purchase a used van that has already been modified.
